The association Terre de Liens is committed to preserving farmland and promoting organic agriculture, with proven results as it has been active for 20 years.

Why does RBM commit to “growing farms”?

Because it is urgent to support the establishment of new farmers. Older farmers are gradually retiring, and we need a new generation to ensure food autonomy, provide healthy nutrition, and reduce CO2 emissions.

During the CSR day, we learned that:

    •    France has lost 15 million hectares of farmland in 70 years.

    •    Agroforestry creates a balance between fruit trees (cherry, pear, etc.), vegetables (squash, carrots, etc.), and hedgerows to establish a natural ecosystem that no longer requires pesticides or biotechnology.

    •    Terre de Liens in Avignon is also a pilot project with a scientific purpose, studied by GRAB (Research Group in Organic Agriculture), to provide reference data for the farmers of tomorrow.

Thanks to the support of our clients and partners who joined us in this CSR initiative from September to October 2024, new projects will be developed. We will share more details soon.

Finally, this “off-site” day was also an opportunity to internally reinforce our CSR commitments, actions, and results, while sharing a moment of team cohesion.
